This was our 9th Carnival cruise and was really wonderful. We flew in a day early to San Juan for this journeys cruise. We stayed at the Hotel Milano located in Old San Juan, nice price, excellent location. Headed out to the ship around 11 am, we were through checkin and onboard in less than 10 minutes from arriving to the port.

We had a vista suite cabin 4237 and my parents had vista suite 8268. Cabin was excellent, views were wonderful. Nice large balcony, separate living and bedroom, nice seating area, large closet, bathroom. Room did get a little hot during the week, by day 6 it was so hot we did mention to the room steward, someone said they would be back to check, never saw them again as we left the cabin, but upon returning that evening cabin was much more comfortable. Steward did keep our ice bucket fairly stocked, always put in clean towels, no problems with the twice a day service.

We had 6 port stops, of which 4 were new for us. I have to say I wasn't impressed with Dominica or St. Lucia, greatly enjoyed Antigua, St. Kitts. In St. Thomas we went over to St. John and didn't do much of anything in St. Maarten.
