We began our arrival with taking pre cruise trips to Lima Peru, Iquazu Falls and then on to Buenos Aires. Arrival was ok and got aboard and our cabin was already ready. Then on to Horizon court for a little lunch. I have food allergies so met with the Maitre d and he arranged my food to fit my needs. Our head waiter and waiters were very good. We were told we were the first cruise to make it in to all the Ports so we were very fortunate and most of the days were excellent.

We enjoyed attending a lot of the Cruise critic events and joining many of the excursions which they had gotten arranged. The food was ok but felt the menu could have been a little more extensive and changed more often. The finess room did not open till 7 am and wished it was earlier.

Disembarkation was held up by port authorities but still made itto our tour of Valparaiso and Vino del mar and then on to Santiago. Spending post cruise 3 days here and then back to the Wonderful Florida ikeys,.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BB

Cabin was adequate. Mid ship is great except we were on the 12th floor beneath the outside pool area where the crew starting moving around pool chairs etc around 6 am every morning.

Port Reviews

Montevideo

We chose to walk around town on our own. Is very doable and felt we saw everything we needed.

Stanley

We chose to use Patrick Watts tour to Volunteer Point with other cruise critics passengers. It was excellent it is not for those who have really bad backs. But once we got there it was wonderful. Penquins penquins penquins and your able to get up close to them. Our driver was Derek and we were lucky as he is the official guardian of the volunteer point and actually lives right there.

Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego)

Also we did a excursion with other cruise critic passengers. Was beautiful scenery at the end of the world.

Punta Arenas

Did not feel the excursions offered were of interest to us. We just went to port and walked ourselves. EAsliy doable.

Puerto Montt

Again we joined an excursion with the cruise critic passengers. Very nice, we were even lucky enough to have the snow cap on the mountain peeked out for us. Falls were nice. Was not impressed with the last stop in Puerto Varas as our guide was new and did not know about where to go.

Puerto Montt

ok falls. Lots of people and hard to take good pics. It is very rough walking out at the end if you have issues with that. Bathrooms there too.

Puerto Montt

Last stop for our group. Was raining and our guide was inexperienced and not good English. So none of us were really impressed.

Buenos Aires

It was ok and we saw everything we needed.
