We were initially not assigned a room until our boarding day. Our luggage tags were labeled TBA. At the airport they found our names and tagged the luggage with a room on the 9th deck. During the embarking we were given our room card on the 2nd deck. When we told her it was different she said "they'll figure it out". While walking around we got off the elevator on the 9th and there they were...on the cart going to the other assigned room. The steward left us take them since he saw our sail and sign card which matched the luggage name. They would have been outside that other room for who knows how long.

Overall the food was good, but the poor pizza station needs help. There's only ever 1 and sometimes 2 guys busting their butts to keep up and the lines are ridiculous especially in the evenings and after excursions. There is now an up charge for lobster and steak on elegant night..that's different.

Since this was my 8th cruise with Carnival I can say that I find it getting tiresome. They need to change things up. The same old activities over and over like the hairy chest contest, the art auction, the bingo, bingo bingo. The only entertainment that I can say that I enjoyed more on the Victory compared some of the other ships was the young performers. The singing and dancing troupe did a great job. On some other ships there is some more in the way of high tech backgrounds and less dancers but I generally like the kids performing more than big screen videos in the background.
