We didn't pick this cruise for our first cruise. My family picked it and we decided to tag along. It was a nice ship, the staff were super, and I did enjoy it. But 5 days at sea were a little long for me. My sister thought it wasn't long enough, so it is a matter of personal opinion. Overall, I had a wonderful time and would like to cruise again.

The embarkation process was very easy, even for a newbie like me. We were directed to a line, which was moving very quickly to register and received e our cards. We then sat in a large room and waited for our boarding party to be called. I don't think we were sitting for 10 minutes. We had received a card saying the staterooms wouldn't be ready until after 1 and our bags could take a couple of hours. Our stateroom was ready as we approached with one suitcase sitting outside. The second arrived within 15 minutes. All in all, very easy.

Disembarking was even easier. Due to the early hours of our flight, we were walking off. Scheduled for 7:45, we were actually in a taxi speeding our way to the airport by 7:30. Thank you Princess.

We didn't think we'd be in the cabin very much, and we were right. My only problem with the cabin was the air conditioning kept turning off during the night. I would wake up in a puddle of sweat. But a cool shower took care of that. The location was very quiet and fairly centrally located.

We took the bus over to the shopping district. $3 return was very reasonable. The shopping itself was excellent. My husband and I both found some remarkable deals. Silver for me, leather for him. We kept to the one main Street and felt safe - we were warned not to wander.
