This was our second time on a Celebrity ship and about our 12th cruise overall. I want to write this review especially for those people who feel anxious when they read several poor reviews about a ship and about someone's experience on their cruise. Remember, it's all in your attitude. If you go with the knowledge that not everything will be perfect but that you are on vacation and will make the most of it, you will have a great time. If you also keep in mind that you will be sharing a ship with several thousand other people, it will put things in perspective.

We had a great time on our cruise. Embarkation was as smooth as could be expected (again, remember that you're not the only person trying to board). As soon as we got on the ship we went to the excursion desk to book a few excursions with our ship credit. We had purchased the "Go Best" package which included gratuities, WiFi, $150 ship-board credit person, and the premium drink package. Once the excursions were booked we made our way to the lunch buffet. There was lots to choose from and nothing was disappointing. If you know you will be drinking on the ship, you definitely should get one of the drink packages. The premium package included drinks at their Martini Bar which was one of the highlights of our cruise. Did we have to wait for drink service at times, yes! What would you expect? If you expect instant service, then you should stay home and make your own drinks.

Every employee on the ship was polite and helpful. The only rude behavior was on the part of some of the cruisers. A near fight broke out over the saving of lounge chairs (but I've seen these arguments before-the first ship to create some sort of system for saving lounge chairs will make a million dollars). We booked a balcony cabin which was quite large. We had the set dining at 6 pm and were seated with two other lovely couples whom we looked forward to catching up with every evening. They were of the same mind-set as us...just enjoy yourself and don't sweat the small stuff. We enjoyed the pool and the casino most every evening. We attended only one show and thoroughly enjoyed it. We would definitely book a Celebrity cruise again and wouldn't mind getting back on the Constellation.
