People have all different expectations and so there many different reactions as exemplified here. This was my 6th cruise on the Rotterdam and having taken very many cruises I now find that this is my best cruise ever. I boarded the Rotterdam on January 7 in Rotterdam.I admit that the boarding on a very cold and rainy day was for me a nightmare but everything improve greatly once the wheelchair arrived for this 90 year old lady, my great adventure began. I only need the wheelchair for distances.

My stateroom was 2595 for the 24 day segment. I left the cruise in DUBAI January 31 having made some very good friends starting with the servers on my 2 person table. Once at home I woke up one morning and simply said "why don't you go back"? So I made my preparations including the required Indian visa. So I again boarded the Rotterdam in Singapore for the return to South Hampton. The following is how I described my return on my facebook page.

"Well everyone I am back from a wonderful cruise. We were able to celebrate Holy Week and Easter on board. The priest, Father Walter Smith, SJ and the crew did everything possible to make the celebration memorable and they succeeded wonderfully.
