This was our first trip to Europe and first river cruise. We had no idea what to expect. In a nutshell, Viking exceeded all of our expectations! Friendly, always ready to help staff; fabulous, healthy food choices every day. Beautiful ship with every amenity you would need...and more! Entertaining shore excursions with such efficient fun staff members. Bus travel was wonderful- when needed. Everything appeared to be brand new and fresh. We never felt lost or unsure of where we were supposed to be or how we were to get there. Everything was well planned and orchestrated. I give Viking stright 10's across the board and can't wait for our next Viking adventure!!

The Rhine was gorgeous and offered so much to see and experience. A week was absolutely not long enough! We loved the shore excursions- there was something for everyone. Viking was kind enough to arrange to have bicycles delivered to our ship so that our group could go off on our own bicycle trip two afternoons of the trip! It was fantastic. The staff offered suggestions of places we could go to on our own and great activities we could do for some good exercise. We love to remain active while traveling and Viking helped us do exactly that! From the Captain to all crewmembers, we say "Thank you" for a job very well done! You made your home feel like "our home" while traveling. We will travel on the rivers of the world again with Viking!
