Cabin: French Balcony

This was our third river cruise with additional city stays. We always sign up for thr air package as well. The last was the Grand European from Amsterdam to Budapest with stays in Prague and Amsterdam.

Everything was great even the unfortunate need to change ships due to low river levels. Viking made this as painless as possible by placing all baggage back in the same room on a new ship. They even bussed us back to the port we missed so we saw the same places.

The extra excursions and on board activities were very entertaining and relaxing. This cruise was less educational than Waterways of the Tzars or Imperial Jewels of China. We had a great time with the crew and cruise director whose trivia games and musical presentations passed the evening hours after dinner.

Very comfortable overall. The half balcony is adequate for observing the shore from your cabin. There was in issue with toilet flushing on the Ingvi that was not true in the second ship.
