We had received a lot of brochures from Viking and a lot of friends had highly recommended Viking. We had a problem with the water level being too high so the boat could not leave the port. We had to be bussed to the next port but the crew could not do enough to try and accommodate us. I will never forget when the boat finally could meet up with us and the whole crew was holding signs spelling out "Welcome Home". They were the best staff.

Another thing that stood out to me was one night I was not very hungry and barely touched my dinner. The chef came over and inquired about why I did not eat and if he could get me something else. We went up on top to watch the castles go by and it was a little cloudy and chilly. They came up with hot chocolate and a little something to warm us up. They narrated the scenery very well with interesting facts. All of the ports were interesting. We did a pub crawl which we enjoyed and they had some locals tell us about the beer and the area.

The Concierge was very helpful in getting us tickets for the Anne Frank house and Van Gogh museum. We would have never been able to tour these places if she had not gotten us the tickets.
