We found the service to be outstanding and accommodating. The Staff made us feel so comfortable that it was like we were at home. The room though small and the other Accommodations exceeded our expectations. A river cruise was on my husband's bucket list of things that we should do before our age and health would no longer allow us to accomplish these goals. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we have signed up for The City of Lights cruise in October of this year. Our cruise director Emma anticipated our every need and she was such a delight as well as informative, enthusiastic with such a bubbly personality. We were on the cruise that never left its port yet we never felt short changed. Each excursion was different though all were interesting and immensely enjoyable. It felt as we taking a class on the history and culture of communities that we visited. We really enjoyed the intimacy of a small group as It allowed us the opportunity to get to know everyone aboard the ship. We found the ship's staff to be very professional and friendly while they performed their duties. At the same time they seemed to go to every extreme to grant our requests for which we will be forever grateful. The way Viking allows for free time on your own to explore the city near our docking port gave us a great sense of discovery while always feeling secure about our safety. We look forward to having other Viking Cruise experiences.
