Went on the new Viking Gefjon on the Danube Waltz. Loved the locations where we stopped, loved the bus tours around the cities, loved just sitting on the deck when the younger travelers went on other explorations, food was excellent, love the free wine or beer at lunch and dinner, personnel from tour guide to cabin attendant were above expectation. It was my fourth Viking Cruise and already looking for another seasonal special.

Enjoyed having an elevator to help go up and down steps. Very comfortable in all areas from the reception area to the lounge.

Would like to have the lounge camera show the entertainment instead of just the piano and when the tour guide showed slides would like to have seen them on our TV instead of just hearing her talk. Other cruises had a wider view of the lounge area and we could see the entertainment from the comfort of our room especially late in the evening when old people like us like to relax. Read more
