My wife had wanted to see Vietnam and Cambodia for sometime and we were able to tie this into a reunion in the Australia.
Because this was and land and river cruise adventure we were able to see and experience much of the region.
The ship was exceptional in all areas and perfect for the region. It is not a large ship but is very comfortable with exceptionally well appointed cabins. Food was very good and included opportunities to taste local cuisine. The use of san pans to move us to the ports in Vietnam was well done and required minimum athletic ability to board. Once on board it was a comfortable ride to shore while the local guide gave interesting information and side lights about the pace we were visiting that day. The ships wifi was sufficient to be able to keep in contact.
Very clean and well appointed. Large bathroom for a ship. There was plenty of closet space and the beds were constructed so that our 21 day suit cases fit under and out of the way.
The stop in Phnom Penh showed the highs and lows of Cambodia's capital. Going from the elegance of the Palace and grounds to the sadness of the Killing Fields. The local flavor could be felt everywhere including an afternoon cocktail at Raffle's Hotel bar.
