Sail Date: Apr 2016
Cabin: Club Veranda Stateroom

I visited India in the 60's and always wanted to take my wife to sample various ports and the Spice Cruise seemed the best option.

Picking Azamara was due to their schedule, because we had only cruised once before in 2015, with another cruise company.

Overall we found the Azamara Quest to be more like a country hotel rather than a ship sailing deep sea. The cabins were a good size and the shower was very good and the shower space adequate for me being 6 ft 2 inches tall Water pressure was very good..

Cabin Review

Club Veranda Stateroom

Cabin V2

Smaller than expected, but the space was adequate, Amenities excellent, stowage under the double bed available for shoes, small cases etc. Large cases stowed in wardrobe. Small settee and table- desk with drawers and chair - fridge - plenty of bottled water. Consider how long you stay in your cabin, not long.

Port Reviews

Mumbai (Bombay)

Our guide's accent was quite strong, which mixed with a very poor sound system (which she had reported to the tour company previously) made her comments unclear after about the sixth row of the bust.

Muscat

Enjoyable - two hours on the hop on hop off bus with interesting commentary.

Kochi (Cochin)

My wife and I did our own tour and hired a tuk tuk, because I'd been to Cochin.
