chose this cruise to take my dad back to see gibralter. The overall impression of this ship is not luxury but comfortable with friendly staff.
Come on thomson what about every night at 6-30 out when you eat in the dining room and come out about 8pm all seats in the entertainment lounges taken you need to look at start times. yes your shows were quite good but we have been to better.also why are there no sunbeds around the pool tables and chairs for those who do not swim?
Food was ok we enjoyed most of it but the smaller dining room was our venue every night all 12 of us as a family and they were excellent in serving and seeing we had what we needed 10 out of 10 for that . OUR biggest complaint was we had NO sleep on level 4 for the noise the ship makes 6 cabins in all 12 people who all needed a good nights sleep when we got home . Yes you get what you pay for we have cruised with a lot of companies thomson included but cabins creek above us was the dining room who work till after 2 in the morning pushing trolleys banging things and also corridors that groan . i would avoid all inside cabins on deck 4 i do not know about outside ones . we had 2 lovely stewards who kept our rooms and were friendly .MY next biggest gripe would be the TOWELS grey and thread bare and you should be ashamed of putting them for guests to use i wash my floors with better , it was a shame for the stewards they were trying to sort some without holes !!!!!!!!!! overall a holiday is what you make it we enjoyed ourselves but as for thomson majesty i would not travel with them again ps the dream was lovely last year .check in and out was perfect for us all as was th flight
