This trip was a gift to ourselves for our 50th wedding anniversary. It was well worth it.

We decided on the Rhine River Cruise because it fit our interests and looked like an experience we would enjoy. We like history and the shore excursions sounded good to both of us.

The food was excellent, the service great, and all the staff was friendly and just plain fabulous! Our suite was well appointed and roomy! The bed was very comfortable! We slept well every night. We did enjoy all of the shore excursions, but especially enjoyed the Black Forest, Heidelberg, and Strasbourg. We even bought a cuckoo clock during the Black Forest tour. We did take advantage of the extended trip to Lucerne for 2 extra days. The hotel was beautiful and our room grand! We chose to be on our own in Lucerne but on our full day it was cold and rainy. We took a train trip into the mountains to Interlaken, Switzerland and that was a perfect excursion for a bad weather day.

Deluxe Stateroom

Cabin F

Our stateroom was roomy and comfortable. We both slept well in the bed and use of the bathroom facilities was a pleasant experience. Good use of space!
