We had luxury accommodations and service throughout our trip. The food & drink were exceptional and plentiful. Dining choices embraced continually changing selections that mirrored the local cuisine of the areas we were visiting. Surprisingly, on Thanksgiving day, a traditional American style turkey dinner was presented in honor of all of the traveling Americans. Our service was unlike anything we've ever experienced anywhere. The Viking staff went above and beyond in every detail to offer us exceptional comfort and fulfillment. Daily briefings from the cruise director were very helpful in offering great information that assisted us in getting the most out of our ship experience and shore time. When we embarked, we were treated with very well educated guides that brought our attention to the best of the history and culture of all of the sites chosen. Every country had so much richness of history and culture that it was hard to choose a favorite. We also had the bonus of being in Europe during the Christmas market season, and every town was celebrating. The Rhine River cruising views along with the daily excursions were amazing and we'll cherish our memories forever. We'd recommend Viking River cruises as a "bucket list" must to everyone.
