Wanted a wine oriented cruise and the Agent Lynne suggested this as an alternative to the Burgandy tour, which included Paris and Dijon, both of which I had visited before. The staff and service were excellent. Our weather saw rain clouds and cold, every day, though not a Viking problem. Entertainment a pleasant surprise. Guides and tours first rate. Minor problem areas: (1) need instructions on shower operation (2) regular wines very good but upscale wines (Silver Spirit) should be upgraded.Ship is beautiful and well laid out..All dining provided excellent experience with variety and quality that could not have been better. As a widower travelling alone I was still made welcome and comfortable by the staff and other guests.Naturally, I enjoyed the wine tastings in the Beaujolais and Chateauneuf-duPape to taste these wines and see the beautiful areas proved rewarding. Also I particularly enjoyed our market tour with the chef. All in all a great trip and a top value. I would consider another wine related trip, such as your bordeaux trip
