I traveled with cousins and we collectively decided on the Danube because we all agreed on the countries we wanted to visit and 4 of the cousins had been to most of offered river cruises. Everything about the Viking river cruise was beyond our expectations and have been telling business, friends and other family members about the experience. In fact, a co-worker has signed on for a cruise in August and I have booked another cruise for October 2016. The cousins (6) are planning the next river cruise for the spring of 2017. We were impressed with the staff, level of professionalism, service, politeness and going out of their way to accommodate requests. The Program Director was an extraordinary person who assisted a handicap gentlemen to the men's room on one of the short excursions. The menu selections were varied and prepared perfectly and the wine selections were top notch. A special shout out on "soups" - two different soups each day and all were excellent and delicious.
