We had wanted to try a Viking River Cruise for some time. The timing of this cruise fit in with plans we had for visiting family in England and Paris, and it went to places we wanted to see. We were not disappointed! It was wonderful.

The staff was very special and treated us like honored guests, even remembering our preferences. The piano player, Dimo, was wonderful and catered to our every musical whim. The included tours delightful and each guide was very knowledgeable about the city or area they were leading us through .

The ship was perfectly designed for this type of trip and we liked that there weren't hordes of people on board. The food offered was very special and included many local delicacies, and we especially liked the Light offerings at each meal and often enjoyed having a meal on deck. We're looking forward to planning our next Viking River Cruise.

The cabin was small, as we expected, but was beautifully appointed and functioned very well. There was nothing missing.
