We are two adults (in our 50s) with no children. We just got back from a 3 night cruise aboard the Disney Wonder (May 15-18, 2016). This was our 6th cruise with Disney. Three on the Magic (2001, 2005, 2008), one on the Dream (2014), and two on the Wonder (2011, 2016). While we have loved our Disney cruises, the Wonder is definitely showing her age and badly needs updating in drydock this coming October.
On the plus side, we loved the level of service. Our table staff Wayan and Katrina were great, and we found the meals at dinner to be wonderful.
On the negative side, the food at breakfast and lunch is just okay. The entertainment is tired and needs updating. On the first night we skipped 'Toy Story the Musical' as we saw it on our previous Disney Wonder Cruise and did not like it at all. The second night was the movie Captain America - Civil War. This wasn't even a new released movie, this movie had been out in theaters for over a week. The last night was 'Disney Dreams' and it was nice, but again showed signs of age.
The cabin is laid out well and allows for enough space. The bed was comfortable; we could tell Disney had up graded the bed. With the new bed, it was nice to have extra room under the bed for our luggage. I hope the ship does a big overhaul in drydock this coming October. The tub/shower is showing it's age and the creaking at night kept us awake.
