We had taken a Viking River Cruise last year and were extremely impressed with service, food, level of quality all around. The vessel and rooms were immaculate. All of the staff were warm and welcoming, treating us as if we were the only guests on board. All of the meals were excellent form breakfast to dinner. The choices seemed endless at breakfast and lunch and dinner had so many options from different daily special suggestions from the chef to älways available" items. The entertainment on board was exceptional this trip. We laughed so hard one night, we almost couldn't stand it :) The cultural presentations were excellent too. (Spolier alert - one night they transformed the dining room into a beer garden.) The attention to detail amazes us. From the tiniest of detail (different flowers on the lunch tables) to changing daily "refreshment/tasting" when returning after a fabulous tour. We loved this trip so much we have already signed up for next year and we are now planning our 4th trip for the following year.
