This was a great experience.
We were celebrating (early) our 60th anniversary and had Tulips and Windmills on our Bucket List".
Ratio of crew to guests was 50/174; a great mix.
Tour guides were all excellent.
All staff were outstanding; we were often called by name.
Meals were superb. Wines were nice and not limited to a single glass.Many choices and the buffet on the Terrace was a nice change.
Open seating means we met many new friends.
The Skadi was beautiful; lovely common areas.
Enjoyed the early evening briefing which always included comments from the Executive Chef.
Shore excursions were great.
we met many new people from all over the world.
Crew was exceptionally attentive. Really liked the hot chocolate after the chilly tour of windmills. Likes the umbrellas which we needed often.
We would do another Viking river cruise if time and age permits.
Really liked the daily bulletin which was left in the room at dinnertime
Cabin Review
Room was as advertised but the view was often obstructed by another longship or a wall; not what we expected!
Nice storage and a convenient room safe.
Housekeeping was outstanding!
