We absolutely loved this cruise! We had not traveled with NCL before but chose this cruise because it had been recommended to us by friends. Also we wanted to see the Hawaiian Islands and didn't know which islands to visit. It was an amazing trip. We arrived in Honolulu two days before the cruise sailed. This worked out very well because we got some rest, as well as getting to see more of Oahu.

Embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly. We went to the pier around 11:30 am and we walked on board and had a very short wait time. On the return back to Honolulu we walked off with our luggage so we could take an excursion since our flight was not scheduled to leave until 7:15 pm. This was very quick and was perfect for us.

The Pride of America was beautiful and very clean. From the time we stepped on the boat the staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not encounter one problem while on board. We had purchased an internet package before leaving home and discovered that we really didn't need it since our AT&T phone service worked the majority of the time and the staff cheerfully gave us a credit and it appeared on our statement as an on board credit before the week was over.

Port Reviews

Kauai

We absolutely loved Kauai. This was our favorite island. We had a relative show us the island and she did an amazing job!

Kona (Kailua Bay)

Just went shopping and had lunch with a friend that lives in Kona.
