This was just an awesome 8 day cruise from Port Canaveral to Bermuda. The ship was very clean and the crew was always seen everywhere around the ship keeping it clean. We had a balcony cabin on the Upper deck and it was a nice size with more storage than we could possibly use. Even though Carnival only makes up the room once a day, our room steward Nina did an excellent job and supplied us with ice both in the morning and evening. There was never a line for food in the buffet and the food in the buffet and the MDR was excellent. The only problem with dinner in the MDR was if you sat at a table with 6 or 8 people, than it took about 2 and a half hours to eat. Because of this we opted to eat alone a couple of nights although you still sit close enough to other people to strike up a conversation. We had my time dining, so some night we had to wait for 20 to 30 minutes for a table.
We usually sat in the Serenity area and had no problem finding a lounge. There are two huge hot tubs there that are the hottest hot tubs on a cruise ship that we have been on. As for lounge chairs on the rest of the ship, there was no problem getting one wherever you wanted one. There are 3 big pools on the ship {one with a retractable cover for if it rains}. Don't worry about the little pool up by the serenity {it,s about 2 feet deep and if it was working, people probably wouldn't use it}. It's just something for people to complain about.
My biggest complaint is probably that the Casino is very cold although from day 2 I had free drinks in the casino for the rest of the cruise.
Cabin was a nice size with more storage than we could use.Water is very hot and have to be careful adjusting it to right temperature
