Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

The new Ovation we were looking forward to so much as new Diamond members. Our cabin was really nice but lacked appropriate hanging space and need more drawers. Our attendant was very helpful. I did not like the dining experience I much preferred my time dining in the one restaurant with a choice of others if preferred. The entertainment was very impressive and the Director was really good. However there was not much to do through the day and the progressive trivia was like a school boy carnival school yard jokes with unimpressive hosts. The other trivia in schooner bar was good. Considering most of the guests were 50 plus and take trivia a little more seriously. The Diamond lounge was dark and dingy in the Music Hall because we could not get a seat in the very brightly lit Diamond Club room and we were spilled over to the Music Hall with loud games being and people nearly hitting you with there pool cue as they played because this was part of the Music Hall that resembled a dark dingy bar.The Diamond lounge Concierge was extremely un friendly and mostly seemed to give her time to a couple of Spanish speaking guests no good morning or any type of welcome and It spoilt our Diamond Club experience immensely. We travelled with another couple who are Diamond Plus and their club lounge was beautiful. Will not be going on this ship again.
