We are a late 40s/early 50s couple who are relatively new to the cruise game, having only done two ocean cruises prior to embarking on the Scenic Spirit.

Well, this cruise line and ship simply blew us away !

The ship is truly stunning from top to bottom, from the pool deck to the self-service laundry (boring but essential in the SE Asian humidity), EVERYTHING was first-class.

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe Suite

We had Suite 104, the most economical cabin on the lowest passenger deck, but there was nothing economical about the comfort, facilities or view out of the floor to ceiling windows. THE most comfortable (and adjustable) bed I have ever slept in (where can I buy one?). Spacious en suite (for a ship) with a very large, modern shower, L'Occitane products, excellent turbo hairdryer (these things are important !). Mirrors and storage everywhere, easily enough hanging space and drawers to store a month's worth of bits and bobs. Secure pin-safe in the drawer, complimentary mini-bar refreshed daily, bottles of water for drinking and brushing teeth. (Not a good idea to drink the water in Cambodia or Vietnam).

The cabin had both a bedroom and sitting area, which could be partitioned with a sliding glass door to make the little balcony. We didn't actually use this at all because it was so hot and humid outside it just didn't seem worth it.
