We decided to go on a cruise for a family vacation based on our travel agents recommendation. Where we come from, this concept isn't very popular so we didn't know what to expect except what we had read online. We loved it!! Right from the sail away party which was so much fun. The Carnival Vista is a new ship with a lot to do and a lot of walking within the ship. They had a rock show and a musical which i loved. We did the comedy show on most nights. The only area of improvement was the breakfast which got very repetitive. The MDR and the Asian place were the only restaurants we tried and we really enjoyed the food. The staff were really friendly and super accommodating.
The embarkation and disembarkation were handled pretty smoothly except one of our bags got lost but the Carnival guys helped us find it after dinner. We didn't use the shore excursions from carnival because we found it expensive. The option of transport into town through the ship was convenient if you wanted to do excursions on your own. We discovered the Serenity Deck too late. It was really nice to laze around on.
We were in Cabin 1461 which had two bathrooms and a couch. Sufficient space for toiletries and plenty of cupboard space. The cabins were always clean and their towel animals are the cutest
