We were traveling with our 21 yr old granddaughter so originally booked a grand suite but were offered an upgrade to a grand loft suite which was absolutely fabulous. Our Royal Genie was wonderful and made our trip extra special. All three of us were tremendously spoiled - we never had to wait in line, all of our restaurant reservations and shore excursions were made by the genie. We were met at the port and guided thru check in and taken to our cabin. Don't think we could travel without a genie again!

Our cabin was 2 stories with 2 full baths which worked very well.

We dined in all the restaurants and found them very good with excellent service. We only ate in the marketplace a few times because it was usually very crowded. You do need to make your reservations online prior to setting sail because tho there are more restaurants on this ship than most, they aren't that big and most people opted for MyTime Dining. If you choose Classic Dining I think I RCCL makes your reservations for you. Read more
