Sail Date: Jun 2016

This is a very small ship when compared with many other ships (15000 tonnes), with the advantage of quick embarkations, friendliness on board and different ports of call it can make. The disadvantage on size and age is its ability to handle heavier weather and the engine noise at the rear of the ship.

The cabins are reasonable in terms of size, however the balconies are very small. There is plenty of good common areas to sit in on wet days. The ship is currently undergoing improvement to some cabins and it is currently hit and miss on which cabins are better for a refit. It should be said, that even allowing for this the standard overall is not too bad. Common areas , lounges, bars etc are really quite good. The show lounge has support poles and no slope to it, so it is not easy to view dance shows.

Eating areas are very good. The main 2 dining rooms are very comfortable, although not many tables for just 2. The self service area is relatively small, including the outside area and it makes it quite difficult to get in at peak times. the food quality is very good and service excellent. bars too have excellent friendly staff.
