Our first time to the Baltic before. All the ports of call were new to us.

We chose this cruise for the itinerary because the ship stayed in St. Petersburg 3 full days and Azamara stays longer times in the various ports of call. We like Azamara because it is a small ship (approx. 650 passengers) and it feels like a boutique hotel. Staff and crew are friendly and attentive. Food is very good. A basic beverage package and the gratuities were also included in the price. The ship had just been refurbished, it was very nicely done, except for the wallpaper in our cabin was already peeling off.The oceanview cabin was very well appointed and comfortable. However, the shower is small and has shower curtains, which we dislike.

We were disappointed with the cruise director, Tony and the entertainment. Having been on Azamara previously, the production shows were the same as our past three cruises.
