Amazing trip. We booked everything through Viking. No problems. Service was great, food was great, the crew was so personable. The shore excursions were so well organized. The guides were fantastic and so knowledgable. We took advantage of the light dining up in the cafe for lunch and a few dinners. The Chef was so accommodating and we felt like it was our private dining room. The dinning room staff was also amazing and remembered all of our drink likes. One of the waiters even brought us our drinks no matter where we were sitting in the dining room. We picked this type of cruise because of the low numbers and the personable service. What is really nice is you could pick the level of activity you want in a shore excursion. We like to hike and get some exercise during our trip. We had no problem reaching our daily steps goal. This was was our second river cruise with Viking and it will not be the last. We plan to take another cruise with Viking in 2018.
