The ship and crew and staff were amazing. The excursions were very well organized and guides were exceptionally knowledgable...however I was disappointed with the fact that 5 countries were advertised but we only spent 3 hours touring France and saw Switzerland for about 15 minutes in the middle of the night driving to the airport ...also I envisioned myself relaxing on the verandah looking at the scenery as we sailed along but it only made sense that we mainly sailed at night while we were sleeping so we could disembark and tour during the day...also I would advise against booking additional excursions on line...there was always an opportunity to book on the ship and there was availability for the tours...that way you could also judge how busy you wanted to be during the day...my companion and I booked optional excursions every day they were available and it was tiring by the last day of touring...we skipped out on our last paid excursion and just toured the town on our own and thoroughly enjoyed the slower pace and getting a feel of the town and the people...
