The Viking staff continues to excel in service and hospitality. The itinerary was a combination of small towns and larger cities. The included tours in each port were well presented by local guides who know the area well.

The Danube is a working river so not as beautiful as the Rhine but did have sections along the way that were pretty.

We enjoyed the outdoor eating area onboard and ate there several evenings just as a change of pace. Service and menu offerings were still very good but more relaxed environment. Read more
