We went to see Tulips and Windmills, and saw both! The ship and crew were excellent, and lived up to the reputation of Viking to "make it right" when there was an issue in one location. The food and service staff were wonderful! We cruised at night, so didn't have a lot of scenery along the waterways to view, which was fine as it was mostly oil refineries. The docking locations varied, and some were great (Antwerp, Amsterdam, Hoorn were all beautiful). Shore excursions were well done, for the most part. River cruising is so much better than ocean cruising - we met some amazing people and actually were able to enjoy their company at meals, and to see and recognize them while on the ship. On the big cruises you might never see the same person twice. It is just so much more relaxing, and I would recommend it to anyone.
