We arrived 2 days early in Budapest and greatly enjoyed the city, our hotel, and the Szchecheny baths. Budapest is a clean, safe city and easy to get around using public transportation. Our ship was clean, with friendly, well-trained staff, great food, and good excursions. The cabin was comfortable, if a little chilly (we were at water level). My husband's birthday was recognized and celebrated at dinner with a cake. Tour groups were well organized, with dedicated buses and radio headsets for each small group/guide. The guides were very knowledgeable. Some were more interesting than others, telling stories about everyday life in their city/country and sharing historical tidbits. My husband got a little weary of churches and castles, so a little more variety would have been welcomed. We would have enjoyed spending more time in Vienna - such a lovely city! Basically, you get what you pay for, and we paid well.
