We loved the itinerary because we got to see Normandy beach, Monet's Garden and Versailles all in one 8 night river cruise. The ship was spotless; the food was excellent. This was our second river cruise and it will not be our last. Our cruise director, Ken, was fabulous. Our cabin steward was wonderful, too. Each day we took a tour with Viking and used the head phones in our room that we charged every night. The only downside was that the ship was technically not docked in Paris but about a half hour drive away with no view of the city. Plus, there wasn't much cruising because we didn't go very far up the Seine. Our first river cruise with Viking was 15 nights from Amsterdam to Budapest and an add on excursion to Prague; if you are looking for more cruising time, that is the cruise to take!

Veranda Stateroom

Cabin B

Our cabin was small but had plenty of space to put all of our clothes, etc. Very comfortable. Plenty of room on the veranda to read while cruising. Excellent cabin steward.
