River Cruise of a Lifetime!!

We wanted to celebrate out 60th wedding anniversary (Sept), but needed to go early to see the tulips! We had visited Holland 20 years ago and had on our "bucket list" for years.

The longship was beautiful, the staff great and the ports were wonderful.

Food was fantastic too.

Viking was recommended because many of the tours were included in the price. Many other cruises charge for every one.

The tour guides were excellent and the choice of cities to visit was very good.

Highlights were :Keukenhof Gardens, Kinderjyk Windmills and the Delta Works. (you might guess I was an engineer).

Dining was open seating so we met someone new at almost every meal. Wine and beer were provided at lunch and dinner. There were unlimited refills! This was not a "one glass" affair. Dinner options always included two entries and a choice to dine on the terrace for a buffet: nice alternatives.
