We really wanted to see the "Windmills and Tulips" tour.

We always arrive a day early just in case there is any problem with international travel. We stayed at the Marriott Renaissance for the night and taxied to the embarkation point. Evidently the ship was moored at a brand new location not near the central cruise terminal. Just by chance the hotel had a Viking representative in the lobby for another tour. She was a life saver in redirecting our driver to the correct location.

Joining the ship was seamless. Quite different that the large ocean cruise process we had experienced before. We were shown to our cabin by a lovely shore attendant and our bags were delivered within minutes.
