I chose the cruise for the price/location and because I wanted to cruise on Viking. It was every bit as wonderful as I anticipated. The food was top notch and the tour guides were very informative. The guests on the ship were delightful and we made some lifelong friends. The ship's staff were very attentive and our cabin attendant was always available and kept our room immaculate. The chef met with us every evening before dinner to explain the menu and make his recommendations. Because the ship is small, it was an intimate setting. The wine was excellent with each meal and chosen for the meal and region we were visiting. The cabin was water level and I worried that we would miss having a balcony room. Since we spent very little time in the room, this was not a problem. The room was clean and comfortable.All tours were on time and the guides made every effort to inform the group and answer our questions. I like the fact that the excursions were included in the packabe price. I highly recommend Viking and look forward to booking my next trip.
