We have been to Europe several times but this cruise took us to places we had not been before. Viking Cruises and this particular cruise had been recommended to us by friends on two separate occasions.
The food was excellent and the dining room staff was always very pleasant, friendly, eager to serve and sometimes even entertaining. We couldn't ask for a more pleasurable dining experience!
The excursions were well organized & well thought out. The attention paid to detail was appreciated (umbrellas, bottled water). The 'quiet boxes' are a wonderful idea - and they always worked!! The one comment I could make concerning the excursions is the fact that a 'leisure group' was always offered for each excursion. Having this information at the time of booking would have been most helpful as we could have made more informed choices.
Cabin Review

The cabin, although, small, had a very comfortable king size bed and plenty of storage for our clothes & accessories. The bedroom & bathroom were cleaned & tidied twice a day (fresh towels when requested) at our convenience. The cabin staff were extremely accommodating and friendly on both of the ships (Bragi & Skadi).
