Fabulous from the beginning to the end. We were so happy to have extended the river cruise in the beginning at Budapest and again in Amsterdam and Ghent. There is so much to tell and space does not permit. From the Central Market in Pest to the Belgian Waffle at Lizzie's in Bruges (Don't miss this place) it was delightful. Service aboard the vessel was so personal and professional it felt as if we had our own wait staff. Excursions from the boat into the towns and villages were extremely well done. The local tour guides were knowledgeable and able to answer every question asked. Some highlights included the early evening concert in Vienna. The orchestra played Mozart and Strauss music, non-stop, for two hours. The four singers would have been comfortable in any opera house in the world. The there was the opportunity to taste the many local beers in almost every town accompanied with locally made sausages. Our visit to the courthouse in Nuremburg was eye opening even though we already knew about its importance after WWII. Our lecture filed in so much that we didn't even think about - - WOW! I can't forget to mention the late afternoon and evening lectures about the coming day that made us really look forward to what was coming. All that with wonderful food and drink. Relaxing meals and excellent wine (take the drink package - - it's a value). And we met some wonderful people, some of which we are already meeting again now that we are back home. I could go on, but you get the idea. We were spoiled and will have difficulty going on the big ships again.

Excellent but pricy. We will be traveling again with Viking but will take another cabin in the future.
