We were looking for a cruise departing near our home, and were also interested in American Cruise Line since we thought we should see some of the USA now, having cruised in the Caribbean and Europe, and we wanted to experience small ship cruising.

This cruise fit perfectly in our plans and we were fortunate that long time friends of our also joined this cruise.
