We chose this tour so I could see the Normandy Beaches and the American Cemetery. It also allowed my wife to see and experience Paris. The cruise was great, especially the food and hospitality of the Viking Rolf staff. The food was the best we have ever had on a cruise. The staff interacted with each other in a humorous respectful way.

The shore excursions were very interesting and enjoyable. The only glitch was the tour of the Normandy beaches was poor in the morning. But great after lunch for the second part of the day. Since the cruise targets people interested in the Normandy beaches I believe they need to fix this.

Viking did a good job of shuttling us in and out of Paris to spend some time both at the beginning of the tour and the end so we got to spend the time we wanted. .
