Heard that AmaWaterways was very good with excellent services and excursions.
I was thrilled with the experience and the trip. We had a wonderful, personable and knowledgeable Cruise Manager who was always there and helpful. The ship was lovely, the service excellent, the food fantastic, good wines, and it was so easy to meet people. As a single traveler, it was the best experience yet. I enjoyed the on shore excursions which were varied and the extra options that were provided. The guides were very good and knowledgeable.
The room was roomy, lots of closet space and hangers! The bathroom was adequate with a nice shower set-up. The room was cleaned and linen always fresh each day. There was nothing I could complain about this trip on AmaWaterways except that I wish it was longer or possibly that we could stay in one town for more than one day at a time. Truly a lovely experience and totally satisfying. Will definitely do another AmaWaterway River Cruise again.
Cabin Review
Stateroom with French Balcony
Desk was rather small, crowded what with the TV, Wine Bucket and keyboard on a tiny space and no desk chair...nor room for one really. The rest was fine. One couple mentioned it would have been nice to have had TWO arm chairs instead of just one.
Loved my French Balcony and see no need for a real balcony. So little time is spent in one's cabin anyway, and it is more fun sitting on the terrace at the front of the ship if you wanted outdoor exposure and to watch the scenery as you cruised

Lovely town, great tours! Sad that the trip was ending, but it ended on a very high, wonderful note!
