Rhine Getaway was fantastic. It was our very first cruise and Viking got us hooked. All their service were great. All tours well planned and tended to. The Colmar optional excursion is a must. One observation was that our Koblenz stop really gave no exposure to Koblenz, we were picked up a the ship and taken to Marksburg castle. After that we went to Rudesheim which was OK but not breathtaking. On a scale of 1 to 10 about 6, certainly no comparison to Heidelberg or Strasbourg stops. Viking MUST give more time in Koblenz to its guest. I think mentioning Koblenz as an actual stop is a little misleading. It is more of a "drop off" point. Food and restaurant service were excellent. They certainly know all the ins and outs and always had ample staff on land for every need. Other than Everything else was GREAT. We will go back to Viking.

We chose this category because we are never in our cabin during our cruise. it was perfect for us. The cabin was just fine.

It was OK for about a 2 hour stop, not 5 hours.

Disembarked here and toured the city on our own. Beautiful charming city.
