Sail Date: Sep 2016
Cabin: Oceanview Stateroom

We chose this cruise firstly for the destination, then for the small number of passengers & finally because the ship was different with its sails.

The ship & staff were excellent & although the cabins are a little dated they were very clean & comfortable.

We could not fault the selections for breakfast & lunch but found the evening meals were sometimes not quite up to the high standard anticipated. "Candles", on the back deck was a standout as was the other night there. The suckling pig & some of the salads were excellent.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

A bit dated but very clean & comfortable although the temperature control did not work so our cabin was permanently a bit cold.

Port Reviews

Tahiti (Papeete)

Teiva from Tahiti Discovery is an excellent guide & a great showman who makes a basic tour a bit more interesting. The scenery is good but there is little else without someone like Teiva.

Bora Bora

A well run tour with good scenery & little else. A drink stop at Bloody Marys was a look at the unique architecture.
