We thoroughly enjoyed our first cruise experience, overall being excellent and we had a fantastic 25th Wedding anniversary.

All the staff and crew were great and were always full of smiles and created a wonderful atmosphere and the ship was extremely well maintained and clean (even to my wife's ocd expectations on cleanliness and hygiene).

The staff in Blu were exceptional, in particular of those who served us, Rey, Kayna and Victor who were outstanding - it was our 25th wedding anniversary and we were treated like royalty, nothing was ever too much trouble for them, there only wish was to please us. Our stateroom attendant Danisha was extremely attentive and performed well above expectations.

Cabin Review

AquaClass 2

Cabin A2

Overall the Stateroom was excellent. The service provided by the attendant was superb.

The cleaning of the balcony was sporadic and often water came down from above without warning.

We only had one Euro power point in the room (plus 2 US points) no kettle for tea making. Plenty of storage space and hangers for our cloths. Shower was excellent and bathroom storage, extremely clean. always clean towels.

Great view from balcony and ideal for relaxing early evening with a drink and appetizers that were delivered (although not always to our taste).

The large bed was extremely comfortable.

Port Reviews

Kusadasi

Great if you are taking an excursion, but not too much in town apart from a bit of souvenir shopping.

Mykonos

Very pretty place, just enough for the time we were there, lot of places to eat and drink

Crete (Heraklion)

Actually we went to Souda (Chania) - Chania town was a short bus ride away (a couple of Euro from port in Souda) Old port, picturesque and pleasant strolling around the port.

Dubrovnik

We walked off the ship and took the local bus (€3) to Cavtat - a great ride along the coast with beautiful views. We then walked around the pretty coves (some people enjoyed a swim) after stopping for a drink we took the water taxi (€6) back to Dubrovnik - with great views of the old city from the sea. We then took the cable car to enjoy spectacular views across the city and bays. The walled city was great to explore before taking the bus back to port. Overall a beautiful place and we will return for another visit.

Florence (Livorno)

Too far from Florence to have enough time to visit properly. Livorno itself was not particularly interesting and dirty and run down.

We were originally supposed to be going to La Spezia but the port was changed.

Nice

Had a relaxing time in Villa France very pretty, nice shops and bars/restaurants. Good service.

Barcelona

Lots of interesting places to visit, excellent metro system. great food and drink.
