Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Really liked leaving from Barcelona. The embarkation went very smoothly, but not happy with disembarkation. Upon the return the way the luggage is handled is curious at best. It took a good hour to locate our luggage. There needs to be better signs for location, or English speaking personnel to assist one with luggage location. Color coding would certainly help!

Positives: Ship is new and beautiful. Definitely designed for families. This actually was a negative for passengers w/o children.

Cabin: Had a balcony Superior Cabin-great, all clothes fit in the ample closet space. Bathrooms very nice, except sink was so shallow, that when using water went all over the floor. Would have liked designer soaps in bath.

Port Reviews

Marseille

Definitely need a tour here, or if doing your own thing-know that there is lots of walking involved to see anything.

Florence (Livorno)

Loved Florence, lots to see and do . Very easy to do on your own, but must get into the city, so do suggest at least a partial tour.

Naples

Cruise should skip Naples. Very dangerous port, no police to be seen either. Saw 2 different men with box cutters in their hands, ready to slice the purse off your arm.
