We have been on over fifty cruises, and oceania has by far the best food. In the Terrace Cafe grilled lobster, jumbo shrimp, and lamb chops are served nightly. Dining is even available outdoors on the stern of the ship. Some other passenger reviews are not as complimentary, but everyone we spoke to enjoyed the food. The service staff are most efficient and polite. The ship entertainers are excellent considering the ships capacity is just 680 passengers. The featured star entertainers brought onto the ship are broadway quality, and the ship has a guest lecturer who is an expert on the ports visited. At each port we researched the tours we were interested in. In Durres we drove to Barrat, a 2,000 year old town. In Kotor we took a tour to Budva, a pretty seaside resort town. In Split we visited Trogar, and Ravenna we visited Ferara a medieval walled city. In Koper we visited a fairy tale village named Lake Bled which looked like Swiss alps villages, and Lubliana a beautiful medieval city with many shops and canals. In Venice we took a train to Verona, a walled medieval town home of Romeo and Juliet. In Venice we spent the day on the hop on hop off water taxi which has a stop right next to where the ship docks. We met many interesting passengers. One was a famous archeologist knighted by the Italian Government for his excavations in Italy.
