The destination of the Rhine River valley with a beginning in Amsterdam and ending in Zurich was compelling!Amsterdam was wonderful with its museums and cafes and canals.The stops along the cruise were noteworthy,especially in Strasbourg and Kolmar.The accommodations were very nice. The cuisine was excellent with some standard choices available for those not always adventurous.The cruise director was fabulous as she kept everyone informed of all upcoming events in a very humorous,yet professional demeanor.The entertainment was fine with a piano player available at all times to provide background music. The rock band from Germany was great, as was the string quartet. The tour guides for each of the individual tours were also very competent and professional,often giving very personal anecdotes and stories to embellish the visits.The service of everyone on board from the Catain to the Officers to cruise director to cabin attendants and food servers was spectacular. A great time.
